Employment: I have over 25 years of childcare experience, starting in 2001 as a Teaching Assistant at Phoenix School, a specialist school supporting children with special educational needs. I continue to work there part-time, gaining extensive experience supporting children with autism and complex learning needs. From 2017 to 2026, I also worked as a nanny and babysitter through Sitters, caring for children from newborns through to teenagers and supporting hundreds of families.Experience: 25+ yearsEducation: BA (Hons) Global Business Management — University of Suffolk Graduated: 2024Languages: None listedSkills: Team Teach, Sign Language

Tas came through an agency and we started just asking for her after a short space of time as we were very impressed by her skills, which distinguish her from other child carers. Taslima is extremely honest, professional and experienced child minder. Her personality is so easy going and has the skills to deal with any child using her experience and knowledge. My little girl was so attached to Tas for a lot of the time as she really enjoyed her time with Tas, to the point where she would cry when Tas finished her shift and had to leave. Tas also has an impeccable character. Tas has demonstrated on numerous occasions that she very trustworthy, especially when I have trusted her with my daughter on outings, she always took good care and made sure she kept me up to date with various activities when they are outside. Tas is extremely reliable, she is very committed to the families she services and has shown so many times this through accommodating my requests for last minute child care. She moved things in the diary to ensure she can come and look after my daughter which demonstrates genuine commitment, care and understanding. Tas is fantastic with children and her experience spans working with small children and watching them grow and has genuinely left a very positive impression on my daughter.

Mariana worked for me as a babysitter for almost 3 years, looking after my son. She has a lot of childcare experience and has a natural gift with children. There is no better proof of your child minders character as their effect on your child - my son adored her. Mariana always arrives on time, with unfailingly cheerful attitude, and engaged in any activities with my son, from helping with reading, to getting her hands dirty with arts and crafts. As to initiative, it was always there, she didn't exactly have a strict schedule of the day from me, and she would plan most of the activities independently, suggesting things and taking suggestions. A good example would be arranging play dates for my son, from time to time, with children he enjoyed playing with at various toddler groups Mariana and my son were attending. Mariana has a kind hearted, patient and nurturing personality that naturally draws children towards her. She has proved herself as a dependable and reliable babysitter. Very resourcefull and ingenious she always kept my son on his toes. I can rely on her judgement and actions.
