Mariana worked for me as a babysitter for almost 3 years, looking after my son. She has a lot of childcare experience and has a natural gift with children. There is no better proof of your child minders character as their effect on your child - my son adored her. Mariana always arrives on time, with unfailingly cheerful attitude, and engaged in any activities with my son, from helping with reading, to getting her hands dirty with arts and crafts. As to initiative, it was always there, she didn't exactly have a strict schedule of the day from me, and she would plan most of the activities independently, suggesting things and taking suggestions. A good example would be arranging play dates for my son, from time to time, with children he enjoyed playing with at various toddler groups Mariana and my son were attending. Mariana has a kind hearted, patient and nurturing personality that naturally draws children towards her. She has proved herself as a dependable and reliable babysitter. Very resourcefull and ingenious she always kept my son on his toes. I can rely on her judgement and actions.
I have known Mariana for more than 7 years. She was working as a full time nanny for one of my friends family looking after their boy who was 2 at the time. Mariana has a very professional approach to her job. She developed very good relationship with the parents and children. She is able to keep children interested in learning new skills while planning activities suitable considering children s individual needs , age and interests. She organised lots and lots of art and crafts, trips to park, museums, play dates. Mariana is prompt, considerate, very reliable patient and above all actually likes children very much. Without any doubts I would leave my children in her care . I know they would have a great time!
