I have a vast array of experiences since I have worked with children and families for many years. I like to interest them, and deepen and further their thinking and learning. Throughout my various roles in my career, I possessed a responsibility to provide a safe environment for the children. My multitude of years in the educational industry have implemented a rigorous understanding and adherence of safeguarding and welfare of children. My responsibilities entail an ability to identify concerns early, provide help for children, promote their welfare and prevent concerns from escalating. I've been Paulina's line manager for 2 years 5 months. However, Paulina has worked for Islington council since 2015. Paulina is a professional, knowledgeable practitioner who has passion for working with children and families. I would describe her as trustworthy (both honest and reliable). And I would recommend her for working with or supervising children.
I was introduced to Paulina through a friend, to look after my baby (from 6 months old). She has been babysitting for me probably once a fortnight since then, for a year. I find her very flexible, easy-going, supportive. She takes a lot of interest in my son. She has been doing pick-up from nursery, dinner routine, bath time and bed time, and my son has been very relaxed. She has been very collaborative and works in a nursery so she deploys a lot of ways of working from that environment. She's incredible from a dependability perspective - and there's never been a scenario where she's a minute late. She is very accommodating
