About me

“I’m a friendly, reliable, patient and experienced babysitter with an Enhanced DBS certificate, Paediatric First Aid and CPD trainings. I love keeping children engaged through reading books, creativity - crafts or music, board games, sports, creative projects, and educational activities. Alongside providing attentive care, I like to prepare nutritious, home-cooked meals and create consistent, comforting daily routines, giving parents peace of mind while their children feel happy, safe and supported to learn, grow and thrive. I am also very happy to care for families with pets and welcome them as part of your home.

Activities Eva likes to do with children

I enjoy outdoor activities—such as walking and exploring new places, cultures, and history, regardless of the weather—as well as nature walks through the forest. I also like indoor activities, including swimming, various ball games, badminton, and table tennis. When spending time with children, I enjoy reading, board games, engaging in creative crafts, singing, and playing the guitar; essentially, there are no limits to the creativity that can flourish when working with children. I usually channel my creativity into baking or cooking for various occasions.

Employment
Over the decades of my experiences, in addition to my role as a nanny, I also offer pre-school educational tutoring for children aged 3–5 (though younger children are also welcome). Through play, we explore letters, phonics, blending, and pre-writing activities—including proper pencil grip—as well as the fundamentals of mathematics. My approach incorporates the EYFS framework and Montessori methods, utilising resources aligned with these approaches.

I've known Eva for over 15 years, and we only had positive experiences. Eva worked in nurseries and she also looked after my children in the past - my daughter and my littler ones. Eva is very responsible, reliable and I cannot fault her. She did everything - collecting from the school, doing homework, parks, drawing and painting and everything. Eva is the type that never say no. She was always on time and in fact I don't think she ever called off sick. This is quite difficult to find these days. Anyone who has her onboard is just would be so lucky to be honest.

Miss Eva at first was our nursery teacher, and because my daughter loved her so much we asked Miss Eva to help us with babysitting. Eva was absolutely fantastic and absolutely our favourite babysitter She was engaging our girl with educational activities (not just play, play, play). She never touched her mobile phone, was fantastic and very much on-time. If I was late returning, there were never any issues - she was flexible and I was always very comfortable with leaving her alone with Ms Eva for however long I needed.
