About me
When training to be a midwife I gained experience in looking after ladies ante nataly and post nataly, also looking after babies post nataly. I delivered over twenty babies and participated in many Cesarean sections. After midwifery I went on to nannying and worked for one family for four years. The family had two children, I also took my daughter to work with me and then my son when he came along. At one point I was looking after four children. I left the family when my second son was born. I decided to take a two year break and concentrate on my own children. In June 2007 I became a night maternity nurse / night nanny. Also during this time I did a course online and learnt how to become a sleep trainer. In 2015 I went back to being a full-time nanny.

I have known Catherine for 8 years. She has taken care of my two children frequently from when they were newborn to now. Catherine is always my first choice for babysitting as she is extremely trustworthy and professional, I know my children are in safe hands and I often recommend Catherine to friends. Catherine’s personality is kind, caring and gentle. She is confident in caring for children of all ages and her wealth of experience and knowledge is shown in everything she does. I have no safeguarding concerns, children are safe and well looked after in Catherine’s care and she maintains professional boundaries both with parents and children at all times.
Catherine is really friendly and helped me with my children (the first one to ever look after my children, including looking after my newborn). She is great one-on-one with the children, you can really trust her. She has special needs skills also. We have also worked together for a while, looking after children during wedding events. She knows what she is doing - she is friendly, reliable and open-minded. Also, she can work under pressure with a lot of calmness. I have no safe-guarding concerns about her at all.
